NORTH THAMES, Inscribed issue, Trinovantes, Tasciovanus (c.25 - 10 B.C.), copper unit, third coinage of celticized style, issued 15 - 10 B.C., (2.1 grams), Verulamium mint, obv. Geometric star pattern, large pellet in centre, VERLAMIO between points of star, rev. bull to left, wreath around, (S.183, Van A. 1808-1 notes as extremely rare). Green patina, nearly very fine and extremely rare.

Found at Stevenage, Hertsfordshire, 1991 and ex. Chris Rudd, October 1992.
