NORTH THAMES, uninscribed issue, Trinovantes, Waddon Chase type, (55-45 B.C.), base gold quarter stater, (1.41 grams), obv. abstracted head of Apollo to right, rev. Celticized horse to right, one dot below, two dots above, (S.-, Mack -, cf.Van A. 1478 notes as extremely rare). Very good/ good fine and extremely rare.
