EASTERN BRITAIN, uninscribed issue, Iceni, late Freckenham type, (c.45-40 B.C.), gold quarter stater, (1.03 grams), obv. elaborate wreath motif with box of lines in centre, rev. Celticized horse to right, ring and pellet below horse, pellet under horse's head, (S.48, Mack Sylloge 404, Van A. 628-1 notes as extremely rare). Good very fine and extremely rare.

Ex. Found at Brettenham, Norfolk, 1992, and from Chris Rudd June 1994 (1391).
