LUCILLA WIFE OF LUCIUS VERUS, (A.D. 164-169), AE as, Rome mint, (10.0 grams), obv. draped bust of Lucilla to right around LVCILLAE AVG ANTONINI AVG F, rev. Concordia standing left with patera and cornucopiae, around CONCOR DIA, S C across field, (S.1587, RIC 1733, C.11, BMC 1182). Some green patination, strong portrait, very fine and scarce.

Ex. Sir Charles Oman collection, Christie's, February 7, 1968 (lot 195 part) and a duplicate from the Boston Museum of Fine Arts with their distinctive ticket.
