LIVIA, wife of Tiberius Claudius Nero and afterwards Augustus (divorced 38 B.C.). mother of Tiberius and Nero Claudius Druscus, (died A.D. 29), AE sestertius, Rome mint, struck by Tiberius, (26.50 grams), issued A.D. 21-2, obv. Carpentum drawn right by two mules, in three lines S P Q R IVLIAE AVGV[ST], rev. around [TI CAE]SAR DIVI AVG F AVGVST P M TR POT XXIIII, S C in centre, (S.546, RIC 51 (Tib), C.6, BMC 76). Weak in places, surface porosity, otherwise nearly very fine and very rare.
