SASSANIAN KING, Kavad I, (A.D. 488-496, 498-531), silver drachm, first reign issue, obv. bust to right with crown, name in outer margin, rev. fire altar, Shush (A[iran]) mint, (Sellwood 51, Gobl 183, M.1012). Attractive grey tone, good very fine and scarce.
