COELE-SYRIA, Chalcis, Ptolemy, (85-40 B.C.), AE 21, (6.67 grams), issued year 46 = 73/2 B.C., obv. laureate head of Zeus to right, with countermark on obverse, uncertain symbol, rev. standing figures of the Dioscuri facing each other, to right LMZ, (cf,S.5897, SNG Cop. 413). Olive green patina, good very fine, scarce.
