SYRIA, Kingdom of, Antiochus VIII, (121-96 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (16.53 grams), Antioch mint, third reign, issued 111-109 B.C., obv. diademed head of Antiochus VIII to right, fillet border, rev. Zeus Uranius with crescent above standing to left, holding star and sceptre, on right **BASILEOS and **ANTIOCOU and to left **EPIFANOUS, to left **FL over A, to right, between figure and inscription K, (cf.S.7143, Newell SMA 389, SNG Von Post 598 [This Coin]). Blue and gold reverse tone, good very fine and scarce.
