IONIA, Ephesos, (c.540 B.C., Karwiese dating), silver drachm, (3.33 grams), obv. bee with tendrils, volute in upper fields, rev. crude quadripartite incuse square, (cf.S.3517, SNG Von Aulock 1826, Karwiese Group VI Series 1b). Nearly very fine and very rare.
