QUEEN VICTORIA, first type, 1855, with filletted head left by James Wyon. Traces of mint bloom in the lettering and around the devices, minute contacts and hairlines visible under magnification, the best example we have offered, nearly uncirculated and extremely rare, especially in this condition, probably the second or third finest known of Australia's rarest circulating coin.
Estimate / sale price does not include buyer's premium (currently 22% including GST) which is added to hammer price.
