SALCOATS, Peck of Salcoats in North Britain/ A Load of Coals Raised (in four lines) in brass (25mm). Another in copper (25mm) but different obverse die (D&W 294/128,129). Very fine; very good and rare (2).
The first acquired from Alex Cunningham in 1995, the second from Baldwin in 1992.
