COOK BI-CENTENARY, Australia 1770-1970, New Zealand 1769-1969, test strike of medal in bronze (35.3mm) (M&P.1969/7), struck off centre and reverse with 45 degree rotation; another test strike in bronze (34mm) (M&P.1969/7), also with 45 degree rotation of reverse and double struck on base lettering, both medals are variants of Carlisle 1970/2. Some oxidation spots, otherwise good very fine - extremely fine. (2)
