BOLIVIA, Republic, specimen set of Pattern twenty centavos, ten centavos and five centavos, 1868, La Paz mint, obv. arms of the Republic, rev. eagle with spread wings, C T to either side, value below, all with milled edges, 6.3, 2.6 and 1.4 grams respectively, (Gut. 409, 411, 411a; cf.K.M. Pn 12, 13, 16). Proof surface with attractive grey tone, struck with high wire rim, choice and virtually mint state, excessively rare. (3)

Baldwin Collection for ten centavos, all from Norweb Collection, Christie's New York, November 6-7, 1985 (lot 616 illustrated) and the Philip Y.
