Lot 2375       World Gold

Estimate $3,000
Bid at live.noble.com.au

ANNAM, Khai Dinh (1916-1925), gold four tien, not dated, (14.5 grams), obv. Khai Dinh Thong Bao, flaming sun in centre, characters around, rev. Nhi Tien, (Two Tien?) around various symbols, (KM. Sch. -). Uncirculated, extremely rare and apparently unrecorded.

The reverse indicates a value of two tien but is based on a weight corresponding to four tien, consequently it is probably a piedfort.

Estimate / sale price does not include buyer's premium (currently 22% including GST) which is added to hammer price. All bids are executed on the understanding that the Terms & Conditions of sale have been read and accepted. For information on grading and estimates please refer to the Buying at Auction advice.
