REVUE NUMISMATIQUE, Publication of the French Numismatic Society, Paris, sixth series, volume 21, 1979, 274 pp., 28 plates. Fine, scarce and important.

This volume includes N. Waggoner important paper on the Propontis Hoard (IGCH 888), a hoard of 163 coins from 22 mints, consisting entirely of tetradrachms of Alexander the Great mostly struck in the latter 3rd and early 2nd century B.C., (23 pp., 9 plates illustrating almost every coin from the hoard). They also include other papers such as the autonomous bronze of Ptolemais-Ake by V. Kontorini.
