FAMILY GROUP. Son: Group of Four: Distinguished Service Order (GVR); 1914-15 Star; British War Medal 1914-18; Victory Medal (M.I.D). Lieut Colonel F.W. Le Maistre A.I.F. Father: Victoria Volunteer Long and Efficient Service Medal (second type) Captain F.W. Le Marstre 51st Infantry. All medals court mounted for wear. Impressed. Very fine.

DSO: L.G. 3 June 1916. M.I.D. L.G. 11 July 1916. Frank William Le Maistre born St Kilda Vic 22 February 1882. Entered 5 Bn. A.I.F. as Major from 51st Infantry Regt. served in Egypt, Gallipoli (including participation as a company commander in the later stages of the battle of Lone Pine), Sinai, Peninsula and France. With combined set of miniatures and extract from official war history.
