POLLOK 65TH JUBILEE 1948, silvered (26mm), pin back, no maker but probably Theo. Mayer, Auckland; Gallipoli Ake Ake, map in brass (40mm), pin back; Our Day 1917, in brass (24mm), pin back; New Zealand Sports Protection League 1912, in silver (17mm), pin back (M.-; M.G/3; M.1917/2; M.-). Extremely fine. (4)

Pollok is on the sea coast, south of Manukau Harbour, 48m sw of Auckland. Named by pioneer settlers from Pollokshaws, a suburb of Glasgow. $$ The first ex Howard Mitchell with his ticket, the second ex Bill Leggett in 1984. The first illustrated.
