HENRY III, (1216-1272), silver penny, long cross issue, class 3b, issued 1248-1250, ION/ON S/EIN/TED, Bury St. Edmunds mint, (S.1363, N.987/1). Good very fine, weak in places on the legend and very rare.

Ex. Richard Cyril Lockett collection with his ticket (7/6) and illustrated from the supplemenary plate 78 (row 1 no 2), from Glendining's June 6-9 1955 (lot 1204 part) and with Dave Hess, Baton Rouge Louisiana envelope.
