HENRY III, (1216-1272), silver penny, long cross issue, class 3b, issued 1248-1250, IAC/OB O/N BR/VST, Bristol mint, (S.1363, N.987/1). Round and well centred, extremely fine with full ethnic, very scarce.
Ex. Richard Cyril Lockett collection with his ticket (5/-) and illustrated from the supplementary plate 77 (row 5 no 2) and from Glendining's June 6-9 1955 (lot 1203 part) and with Dave Hess, Baton Rouge Louisiana envelope.
