WORLD WAR II, important end of W.W.II cover, from HMAS 'Shropshire', stamped `Official Signing Of Japanese Surrender' and with stamps `HMA Ships' and `HMAS 'Stropshire'', tied with Australia 3d brown KGVI and postmarked 'Tokyo Bay Japan, 1 Sept, 1945' addressed to recipient at Darling Point, N.S.W.; also another cover, India, from Council of State to same address, dated 28 Mar 1938, postmarked Allahabad High Court, fixed with 2 x 4as KGVI and 1/2a KGV. First very rare, second scarce. (2)
