Ex. library of Dr. Peter Jaeckel as his own working copy together with copious notes throughout of additions and corrections. Together with a letter of congratulations from George C. Miles, Executive Director of the American Numismatic Society June 7, 1968, stuck within. A most important work on Islamic coins, although written in German it is easy to follow, the text lists every mint in alphabetical order together with the dynasties and years of issue from that mint. It is one of the best facilitators for the identification of Islamic coins. This copy of this work is probably unique as an interleaved copy.
