ITALY, Calabria, Tarentum (Taras), (340-300 B.C.), silver diobol, (1.062 grams), obv. head of Athena to right, wearing crested helmet, ornamented with hippocamp, rev. Herakles wrestling lion, (cf.S.351 [£45], SNG ANS 1414). Very fine.
