ITALY, Campania, Neapolis (Naples), (c.340-240 B.C.), silver stater or nomos, (7.428 grams), obv. head of nymph to right, X behind, rev. bull walking to right, crowned by Nike flying right above, below **Q*, below exergue **[NEOPOLITWN]*, (cf.S.300, Sambon 476, SNG ANS 368 [same dies], SNG Milan 123, BMC 69, SNG Cop. 436). Small flan and slightly off centred on reverse, otherwise good very fine/very fine, scarce with attractive grey and blue tone.
