TASMANIAN COUNCIL OF EDUCATION IN GOLD, (41mm, 58 grams) by J.S. & A.B. Wyon. Edge inscribed 'James William Tibbs, Senior Associate of Arts 1872.' Minor contact marks on obverse and rim otherwise extremely fine and extremely rare.

A similar example dated 1860 was sold in Sale 33 (lot 2576).
