SCHOOL AWARD MEDAL IN SILVER (42MM) BY W.J.TAYLOR, London, obv. head of Athena to left wearing Corinthian helmet rev. inscribed 'Awarded / by the / Local Committee / to / William Holmes' within wreath, 'Boys First Prize' above, edge engraved 'Melbourne Central Common School No. 391 Christmas 1868'. With surface marks, otherwise good extremely fine and rare.
