HENRY VIII, (1509-1547), silver groat, profile bust issue, first coinage, mm.castle, issued 1509-1526, London mint, with portrait of Henry VII, (S.2316, N.1762). Light grey tone, weak in places, otherwise nearly very fine and scarce.
Ex Dick Squire, Wellington coin dealer in 1960's, purchased in 1966.
