SIM[ON ON] CAN (Simon of Canterbury mint), (S.1352, SCBI 56 Nos.1828 [cut penny]); similar a cut farthing (as a quarter of a penny), type 5b, rev.,,,OCS.. (Oxford mint, possibly moneyer Ailwine), (S.1352, SCBI 56 No.1574 [penny, but from same dies]). Toned, very fine and scarce. (2)
