U.S.A., proof of pattern silver quarter dollar, 1859, seated Liberty type, (Judd 234 [R7], KM PN244). Brilliant FDC, as struck, trace of peripheral tone, extremely rare.

The rarity of this coin has been assessed by Judd to indicate between 4 to 12 examples known.
