EGYPT, Alexandria, Salonina wife of Gallienus, (A.D. 253-268), billon tetradrachm, year 15 = A.D. 267-268, (11.172 grams), obv. diademed and draped bust of Salonina to right, around KOPNH**L*IA CA**LWNEINA* CEB, rev. Eagle standing to right, holding wreath in beak, to right IE, (cf.S.4695, BMC 2280, SNG Cop. 821-2, Milne 4189, Koln 2983). Dark chocolate brown patina, nearly extremely fine or better.
