ILLYRIA, Dyrrhachium, (350-300 B.C.), silver stater, (8.228 grams), obv. Pegasos with pointed wing, flying to right, **D* below, rev. head of Athena in Corinthian helmet to right, with club behind, trace of dolphin above, (S.1895, cf.Cal. 22-24, cf.BMC 10-11). Attractive dark tone, nearly extremely fine and a rare mint for these Corinthian type staters.
