SICILY, Akragas, (425-406 B.C.), AE 29, hemilitron, (20.050 grams), obv. eagle to right with head forward, wings spread, holding in talons a hare, which it attacks with its beak, rev. crab, crayfish below to left, six pellets around, (cf.S 1022; SNG ANS 1027). Attractive brown patina, fine/nearly very fine, rare.
