MADRAS PRESIDENCY, British Style Coinage system, Gold third mohur or five rupees, issued 1819, struck at Madras mint, (3.856 grams), obv. EIC arms without suporters, around ENGLISH EAST INDIA COMPANY, rev. in Persian 'Five rupees of the Honourable English Company', (Pr.244, KM.422). Has light mount marks on edge, otherwise good very fine, scarce.

The issue was 2,179,573.
