SOLD $300

SOLOMON ISLANDS, proof gold fifty dollars, Olympics 2000 issue, rev. 'Eddie the emu' running. FDC and extremely rare.

This is one of only 30 pieces struck in error by Valcambi, Switzerland. Most of the mintage of 30 have been distributed worldwide as trade samples or initial orders, several sent to the Central Bank of Solomon Islands for their records.
