ITALY, Venice, Alviso Moncenigo (1763-1778), gold zecchino, obv. Doge kneeling before St. Mark, rev. Christ standing within stars, (KM.71); together with crude Levantine imitations of this ruler, (cf.NN&M 128 Ives & Grierson crude early 19th century issue see Plate XIII). Mostly very fine, first coin holed, others two from same dies, mounted and plugged and both with ring mount attached. (3)
