ROMULUS, (A.D. 309), AE Folles, Rome mint, issued A.D. 310-1, (5.796 grams), obv. bare head of Romulus to right, around IMP MAXENTIVS DIVO ROMVLO N V FILO, rev. around AETERNAE MEMORIAE, eagle with spread wings standing on top of a domed shrine as a hexastyle temple, RBP in exergue, (S.3786A, RIC 256). Attractive dark tone, nearly extremely fine and rare.
