CARINUS, (A.D. 283-285), antoninianus, Rome mint (3.615 grams), issued under Carus as Caesar 282-3, obv. radiate cuirassed bust to right of Carinus, around M AVR CARINVS NOB CAES, rev. Carinus standing left with globe and sceptre, around PRNCIPI IVVENTVT (sic), in exergue SKA, (S.3454, RIC 158). Lacquered, good very fine/very fine and apparently unpublished error reverse legend.
