CARUS, (A.D. 282-283), antoninianus, Antioch mint (3.37 grams), issued 282-3, obv. radiate draped and cuirassed bust to right of Carus, around IMP C M AVR CARVS P F AVG, rev. Carus standing right receiving Victory on globe from Jupiter standing left, around VIRTVS AVGGG, E below, in exergue XXI, (S.3409, RIC 124). Light porous surface, otherwise nearly extremely fine.
