VABALATHUS AND AURELIAN, (A.D. 271-2), billon antoninianus, (4.230 grams), obv. VABALATHVS V C R IM D R around, laureate draped and cuirassed bust to right of Vabalathus, rev. IMP C AVRELIANVS AVG around, radiate and cuirassed bust to right of Aurelian, (S.3292, RIC 381). With some original colour, good very fine and rare in this condition.
