LUCIUS VERUS, (A.D. 161-169), AE as, issued 163, Rome mint, (13.525 grams), obv. IMP CAES L AVREL VERVS AVG, bare head to right of Lucius Verus, rev. Lucius Verus in military dress on horse to right, around [PROF]ECTIO AVG TR P III, S C across field, COS II in exergue, (S.-, RIC 1357, C.140). Large flan, dark patina, weak in places on the reverse, otherwise very fine/fine and rare.
