HADRIAN, (A.D. 117-138), silver denarius, issued 134-138, Rome mint, (3.025 grams), obv. bare head to right of Hadrian, around HADRIANVS AVG COS III P P, rev. AEGYPTOS around, Egypt reclining left, lotus on head, holding sistrum, resting on basket, ibis before, (S.1077, RIC 297, RSC 99). Well centred, toned, very fine and very scarce in this condition.
