HADRIAN, (A.D. 117-138), silver denarius, Rome mint, issued A.D. 134-8, (3.282 grams), obv. laureate bust of Hadrian to right, around HADRIANVS AVG COS III P P, rev. around SALVS AVG, Salus standing to right sacrificing over altar to a coiled snake, (S.-, RIC 267, RSC 1334). Very fine and scarce.
