ROMAN REPUBLIC, T. Carisius, (46 B.C.), silver sestertius, Rome mint, (0.90 grams), obv. head of Diana to right, bow and quiver at shoulder, rev. T. CAR above, hound running right, (S.-, Cr.464/8a, Syd.989, BMC 4077, B. Carisia 7 [£160]). Good fine and rare.

Not in Pitchfork Collection (Sale 62). Towards the end of the Republic several moneyers issued these the last of the silver sestertii - all of which are rare. 13 obverse dies calculated for this coin type according to Crawford.
