ROMAN REPUBLIC, P. Licinius Cassius, (c.55 B.C.), silver denarius, Rome mint, (3.73 grams), obv. Venus laureate and diademed bust to right, S C behind, rev. female figure standing before her horse holding bridle, shield and cuirass at her feet, P. CRASSIVS M.F. around, (S.-, Cr.430/1, Syd.929, B.Licinia 18 [£85]). Slightly off centred on obverse, bright, very fine and scarce.
