NUMIDIA, Kings of, Massinissa and successors, Micipsa, (c.148-118 B.C.), AE 25, (8.246 grams), obv. bearded and diadmeded head of Macipsa to left, dotted border, rev. horse trotting to left, three pellets below in a row, star above, line border, (cf.S.6597, cf.M.40 [p.32], SNG Cop. 497, Mazard 67 variant (p.42]). Dark tone, good fine and rare.
