ZEUGITANIA, Carthage, (c.300 B.C.), electrum stater, (7.496 grams), obv. head of Tanit to left, crowned with wreath of corn, wearing earring with triple pendants and necklace, dot before, dotted border, rev. free horse standing to right, single exergue line below, one dots before horse's front leg, dotted border, (cf.S.6462, Jenkins Group V No.293 [same dies, dies noted in Jenkins p.99, Pl.12], SNG Cop. 975, Weber 8492, Paris De Luynes 3739). Well centred, good very fine/nearly extremely fine.
