THESSALY, Larissa (under Macedonian domination), (350-325 B.C.), silver drachm, (5.786 grams), obv, facing head three-quarter to right of nymph Larissa with spread hair, rev. horse grazing to right, above **LA[PI], plain exergue, (S.2123, Lorber, head type 19b, No.52.1[a], [same dies], McClean 4615). Porous surface, slightly off centre on the reverse, of fine style, very fine, rare variant.
