HADRIAN, (A.D. 117-138), AE as, Rome mint, issued A.D. 134-138, (14.066 grams), obv. laureate bust of Hadrian draped to right, around HADRIANVS AVG COS III P P, rev. Dacia seated to left holding legionary eagle and sword, S C across field, DACIA in exergue (S.1140, RIC 850, C.527). Deep green patination, some minor surface inperfections otherwuise very fine or better and rare in this condition.
