ROMAN PROVINCIAL COINAGE, Volume I (in two parts), From the death of Caesar to the death of Vitellius (44 BC - AD 69), Andrew Burnett; Michel Amandry; Pere Pau Ripolles, xvii + 812 pp., 7 maps, 195 Plates, London & Paris, printed at Cambridge, 1992 with slip case for the two volumes. Original, unused and very important.

The first volume of the definitive series covers the period from 44 BC and follows a consistant geographical and typographical conventions that set the style for the successive volumes. Lists over 5467 entries by city from Spain, Italy, Greece and the Balkans to Syria and Egypt. Over 6000 coins are illustrated. The standard reference work.
