U.S.A., 'American Medal' (37.5mm) engraved silver medal 'Awarded to Thomas Hamilton for Excellence in English Composition Arman Academy June 1899'. Rev.inscribed 'Presented by the Rev.Thomas E Calvert M.A.S. Luke's Cathedral Portland Maine', milled edge. Suspender with silver bar inscribed 'AMERICAN MEDAL' and a red, white and blue ribbon. Cased. Extremely fine and rare.
