CHINA, Western Chou Dynasty, Warring State period, 'Cheong Yuen yi Chien Huo', round cash with round hole, (406 B.C.), six characters around, diameter 37mms, (Coole 8918, Vol.7 p.17, TFP 375). Some light green encrustation, otherwise good very fine and very rare.

One of the earlist cash type coins, a type that continued until this century.
